College Dressing Tips For Men
Reserve your workout clothes for the gym.
College-aged men might embrace the freedom that comes with campus fashion. Those men hailing from high schools that required uniforms, in particular, will enjoy the variety of fashion options available to them in college. However, many college guys rely on an ultra-casual---and often too casual---look of T-shirts, sweatpants and basketball shorts. While you want to maximize comfort, you can do so in a more fashionable way.
Consider the Occasion
The college dorm room---and perhaps even the college classroom---might seem like a casual environment, but that doesn't mean you can spend four years in sweats and T-shirts. Consider the occasion when you're choosing an outfit. If you have a big presentation in your business class, you will appear more professional in a button-down shirt and wrinkle-free khakis than shorts and a T-shirt. Dress for the occasion---don't dress based on what is clean or what you can find in your closet.
Have Some Staples
College guys can get by with a basic wardrobe. Though a suit is something you might not think you need, you'll be attending job fairs---and hopefully interviews---as you approach graduation. Pair a suit with a white or blue button-down shirt and a tie that's not too loud. If you live in a warm climate, stock up on comfortable shorts, like cargo shorts, for casual events like class. Collared golf shirts are a step up from a T-shirt, so snag a few in a variety of colors. Pair them with jeans or flat-front khakis for a dressier look for date night.
Avoid the Trends
Trends come and go. Stick with the staples, and avoid the hottest trend. While that guy in your economics class might be able to rock a bright pink collared shirt, that doesn't mean you need to stock up on every pink shirt you can find in town. You don't need a closet full of trucker hats, either. Your clothing budget is probably limited as a college student, so invest your money wisely.
Shop Smartly
Maybe your mom has done your clothes shopping in the past, and you don't have a clue where to start. To get the most bang for your buck, shop sales. Department stores often include coupons for sales in the local paper, so shop when you've got a discount. If you have the patience, check out the local thrift store for some name-brand finds at low prices. Look for basic patterns---nothing too loud---and clothes that fit you right. Something too baggy or too tight will simply look bad.

Proper Way To Button Cuffs
Button the cuff of your sleeve to keep it in place during the day.
Knowing cuff your shirt properly will keep you from becoming the subject of fashion gossip around the water cooler. Shirt cuffs are found at the bottom of a shirt sleeve and typically contain one, two or three buttons. The buttons hold the cuff in place, so your shirt looks tailored and stylish; therefore, keeping you off the fashion failure list. While simply buttoning a few buttons seem easy enough, there are a few tricks and cuff styles that may deter your ability to cuff properly.
Instructions
1. Look at the cuff of your sleeve. Typically, there are three buttons -- two on the cuff and one in the slit of the shirt. The two buttons on the sleeve allow for wrist size adjustments, and the button on the sleeve keeps the slit together during wear. Do not fret if your cuff only has one or two buttons, different shirt manufacturers produce shirts differently.
2. Create a button cuff, which is a standard dress shirt cuff. Dress yourself in the shirt and look at the cuff. Use one hand to tighten the shirt to the first button selection. If the shirt feels snug, then slip the button through the button hole. Cuffs that feel too loose on the first button should move the second button for a tighter fit. Slip the button on the slit through the button hole, if available. Repeat with the other cuff.
3. Roll your cuff upwards to create a double cuff, or French cuff. Double cuffs typically warrant cufflinks because of the more formal look to the style. However, you have two options to secure this type of cuff into place. Cufflinks require two button holes on the cuff. The cufflink is simply slipped into one side -- and pushed through to the other -- to secure the cuff back. More causal shirts do not have two button holes, but you can still double cuff. Slip the button through the buttonhole backwards once the cuff is in the rolled-up position. The double cuff will shorten the length of the sleeves, unless you tailor the shirt for a double cuff style.
4. Pull cuffs back into a three-quarter cuff, trendy in women's dress shirts. The three-quarter cuff is half the size of a normal cuff and requires one roll upward. Secure the single button on the cuff into the button hole. Women's shirts that have the three-quarter cuff are cut slightly longer in the arms to allow for the roll.

Put Designs On Black Shirts At Home
Adding a design to your black T-shirt shows your personal style.
Instead of spending $20 to $40 on a new design T-shirt, you can easily create one at home. Black T-shirts are the new blank canvas for creating a look that's tailored to your personality. With a few simple tools, you can start creating your own fun T-shirts.
Instructions
Bleach
1. Wash your black T-shirt. This will prevent your image from shrinking or distorting once your shirt is finished. This also removes any fibers that might get in the way of your paint or bleach design. Dry the shirt in the dryer.
2. Fill a spray bottle with 50% bleach and 50% water. Stretch the T-shirt across a large piece of cardboard to prevent the bleach from seeping through the fabric onto your furniture. Create your stencil on another large piece of cardboard by tracing out a simple shape, or by using a pre-made shape. Trace around the shape, then use your knife to cut around your tracing. Use the outside cardboard outline, not the shape itself.
3. Lay the piece of cardboard over your T-shirt wherever you want the image to appear. Carefully spray the bleach mixture over the cutout. Make sure you're in a well-ventilated area, as the smell of bleach is quite powerful. Don't spray too much to ensure the bleach doesn't drip in places you don't want it to.
4. Wait for the shirt to dry, then wash your shirt again to get rid of the bleach smell. Do not place your customized T-shirt in the dryer; it is best to hang-dry it from now on, to preserve your design.
Fabric Paint
5. Wash and dry the T-shirt before you start working. Stretch the shirt across a large piece of cardboard. Then create a stencil using another piece of cardboard. Simply trace the shape onto the cardboard, cut out with your knife, and place the cardboard outline over the section you want painted. Make sure not to use too much paint because it will drip. Take your paintbrush and dip into the white fabric paint. You can also paint something freehand if you're feeling confident.
6. Optionally, stamp your name or a message on your T-shirt by dipping rubber stamps into the paint and gently pressing them onto your shirt. This allows you to add a message to the image you just created. Use several colors to brighten up the black shirt.
7. Wait for the paint to dry, then wash the shirt as normal. To keep the image intact for as long as possible, hang the shirt to dry. Congratulations---you just custom designed your own black T-shirt.

Safety Lace Up Boots Vs Slip On Boots
Safety Lace Up Boots Vs. Slip on Boots
Many employers require workers to wear safety boots. The boots keep the employee from suffering injuries to his toes and feet. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations may require safety footwear such as the boots to be used in the workplace. Safety boots have several qualities that can protect the feet and toes, making them an asset for workers.
Safety Toe
Both lace-up and slip-on safety boots may have a reinforced steel toe or a composite toe for protection. In either type of boot, the steel toe is more protective but also makes the boots more cumbersome because it adds to the weight of the boot.
Fit
Anyone who will be wearing boots for eight or more hours a day will want to make sure that they fit comfortably. A lace-up boot can be adjusted to fit your foot from the toe to the top of the boot and is laced up snugly. A slip-on boot is more like a cowboy boot, and the top of the boot is not tight to your skin. Therefore, the lace up boot is more stable and keeps your feet warmer all year round, but does not breathe as well.
Non-Skid
Both lace-up and slip-on safety boots are available with nonskid soles to keep you from slipping on wet or oily surfaces. Especially on hard surfaces, this prevents falls and the injuries associated with them.
Oil- and Water-Resistant
A good quality work boot--either lace-up or slip-on--will have uppers made of water- and oil-resistant leather or man-made materials. This is important when you work with oil or water daily, because they can cause wear and tear on the boot material, which eventually leads to decomposition.
Shock Resistant
Both the lace-up and pull-on boots are available in a shock-resistant style to prevent electrocution of the wearer. The industry standard is to prevent electrical hazards for open circuits of 18,000 volts. This is essential if you are work around electrical lines.
Considerations
Lace-up and the slip-on safety boots have many of the same features. A lace-up boot can catch burning embers from welding or metal shards from cutting metal in its laces, and it will take longer to get off than a slip-on style boot. An advantage of the lace-up boots is that they fit tightly and will not slip off if you catch them on something while climbing on scaffolding or ladders. Slip-on boots are cooler in the summer though not as warm in the winter. The safety ratings and protection are equal in each type of boot when compared in the same price range. Major manufacturers make each type of boot. Some people will have both types of boots.

Make A Vintage Vest For Men
Vests can be made with a variety of fabric, adapting them to the climate you are in.
There are a plethora of different styles of vests for men. Vintage vests are often sleeveless and meant to be worn over a shirt or sweater. Because vintage vests need to be bought in a specialty or thrift store, they can be hard to find or costly. A great option instead is to make your own vintage-inspired men's vest with vintage fabric. Many vintage vests will have embellishments such as prints, buttons or designs that are easy to place on your homemade vest.
Instructions
1. Choose a vest pattern or make one in the style of your choosing. You will need to choose fabric based on the pattern specifications you have chosen, making sure to have at least 1 or more yard of fabric and fleece for both the inside lining and outside of the vest.
2. Lay down your pattern and cut out the necessary pieces for your vest. You should have one back piece and two front pieces. Repeat this step using the fleece material. Lay out the back piece of the vest with the right side of the fabric facing down. Pin the fleece piece, with the right side facing up, to the fabric using the sewing pins. Sew the fleece to the fabric, removing the pins as you go. Repeat this process with the two flaps of the vest.
3. Carefully put all three vest segments together using the sewing pins. Sew the vest together, making sure to allow room for the armpit holes. The addition of buttons elevates the vintage feel of the vest. Place the buttons on the outer corner of either side of the vest and sew into place, staying as close to the edge as possible. Button holes can be carefully cut on the other side of the vest, but if the vest is more for style than practicality, it is not necessary.

Shave Your Own Head With Electric Clippers
Use mirrors to make sure you clip the back of your head.
If you want to shave your own head but don`t want to use a razor, use a pair of clippers. A pair of clippers is reasonably priced and allows you to clip your hair in different grades. This means you can go very short -- almost as short as you can with a razor -- or leave your hair a little bit longer. Wrap a towel around your shoulders before you begin, and make sure you have at least two mirrors handy.
Instructions
1. Determine what length you plan to shave your head down to and which guard you will need to use. The guards resemble plastic combs and can be attached to the clippers. They are numbered -- the smaller the number, the closer the cut. If you go with just the clippers -- no guards attached -- you will end up with a close cut resembling a 5 o'clock shadow. The typical "buzz" cut is usually done with a #1 or #2 guard.
2. Turn on the clippers. It really doesn't matter where you begin. The real key to doing this yourself is assuring that you don't miss any spots. The two most obvious ways to do this are to hold a hand-held mirror while you stand in front of another mirror so you can see your entire head, or to trim your entire head over and over again until it is simply impossible that you missed a spot.
3. Be careful around your ears, sideburns and cowlicks. A cowlick is an area on the head where hairs are growing in different directions. Use the ear taper combs as well. These look similar to the guards except that the edge of the guard is at an angle to the edge of the clipper. This allows you to trim around your ears without assistance. To trim cowlicks you will need to run the trimmer over the area in every possible direction. In other words, don't just run the clipper from front to back, but from left to right, right to left and back to front as well.
4. Trim the hairline at the back of your head. A pair of mirrors at this point can make the job much easier. If this simply isn't a possibility, don't despair. Hold a washcloth to the back of your head so that the edge of the cloth is even with where you want the hairline trimmed. Hold the washcloth in place with one hand while trimming with the other. This is a difficult move that takes time to perfect, but it is definitely doable.
5. Clean up. Once you are satisfied that you have not missed a spot, clean and oil your clippers before putting them away. Vacuum up your hair and hop in the shower. Use a bar of soap on your head -- this will tell you whether you have succeeded in rinsing off all of the loose hair bits that are stuck to your head. Lather, rinse and repeat until there are no more whiskers on the soap after lathering.

Tips To Pronouncing Greek Words
Pronouncing Greek
words properly is not difficult.
Words in Greek can typically be pronounced in the same way words are spoken in English. Every culture has its individual rules on pronunciation, though. Pronouncing Greek words properly can be accomplished by following a few rules.
Pronunciation
In the Greek language, "ch" is pronounced as a k, never as in the words chunk, church or chimney. When a word ends in an "e," it is pronounced "neh." The website foundalis.com/lan/grkalpha.htm points out that the Greek language does not contain certain sounds that are common in other languages, such as "sh" in "shop," and "z" as in the word "measure." Two-syllable words should have the accent on the first syllable. If a word contains three or more syllables, the accent should be on the second to last syllable if it's a long word; otherwise, put the accent the third to last syllable.
Vowel sounds are closely related to those found in typical Romance languages such as French, Spanish or Italian.
The letters "g" and "th" in the Greek must be pronounced softly. For example, in the English word "giant" the "g" is soft while in the word "gate" it is hard. The same thing applies to the English word "thimble." The "th" is pronounced smoothly and softly.
Pronouncing certain letters in the Greek alphabet can be tricky. When you see a word beginning with a "y" it should be pronounced softly as in the word "yacht." The letter "b" is pronounced more like the letter "v" in the English language.
Diphthong
Greek diphthongs, which are a combination of letters, can be puzzling to many who attempt to pronounce them correctly. According to the website explorecrete.com, certain letter combination's such as "al" should be pronounced as a soft "e" as in the word "peg." Certain combinations can be pronounced in the same way but can be spelled differently, such as in the combination's "ei," "oi" and "yi." Those combinations should be pronounced as the "e" in the word "errand." The combinations "ay" should be pronounced as "av" or "af." Linking "ey" together makes the sound "ev" or "ef."
Common Words
The word "thank you" in English is written "efharisto" in Greek, and pronounced like "f har eesto" with the accent on the third syllable. The phrase "good morning" is spelled "kali mera" and pronounced "kai ye mare ah," with the accent on the third syllable. The word "yes" is spelled "ne" and pronounced like "neh." "No" is spelled "ohi" and pronounced "hor hee."

Rules About Wearing Dresses
Knowing some rules can make getting dressed a snap.
Achieving a certain image is likely what comes to mind when you think about style, but fashion is also about feeling as good as you look. It's easier to attain this confidence when you understand the rules surrounding certain pieces in your wardrobe. Knowing the rules allows you to follow them with self-assurance, and even lets you break them when you feel a little daring. The most basic precepts for dresses focus primarily on their different lengths. A little basic information about minis, midis and maxis can help you wear dresses with ease.
The Mini-dress
Avoiding over-exposure is the key to wearing a mini-dress. That fine line between looking sexy rather than lewd is easy to cross if you don't follow the golden rule of the mini: Choose a dress that is short or tight, but never both. Leave a little extra room in the skirt and the top portion of the dress whenever your hemline is high, and be sure to cover your top half thoroughly. You don't have to cover the top of your body completely, but remember that the point of a mini-dress is to flaunt your legs. Plunging necklines, open backs and other barely-there elements on the top of the dress pull attention away from the very feature a mini-dress is meant to highlight.
The Midi-Dress
By definition, true midi-dresses should stop at the middle of your calf. Different designers, however, make dresses of different lengths and call them all midi-dresses. And one woman's midi might be a petite woman's maxi or stop just below the knees of a taller woman. Always try on midi-dresses before you buy them and make sure that the length looks good on you rather than focusing on what the length is supposed to be. Tall women can usually rock a midi without issues. Petite women do best with a hemline that falls just below the knee and should choose solid colors or prints that are not overwhelmingly busy or large. Whatever your height, always choose heels rather than flats with a midi-dress to elongate your lower legs.
The Maxi-Dress
Make sure long dresses flatter you -- not consume you.
Wearing a maxi dress is all about avoiding a frumpy look. Maxis can be Bohemian chic or formal depending upon the style and accessories, but the wrong combinations can make you look like you wrapped yourself in bed sheets. If you're petite, choose a more form-fitting maxi rather than a baggy one that can easily overwhelm you. Consider a deep V-neck to add length to your appearance. V-necks are also a good choice for plus-sized figures as are wide shoulder straps. Opt for large prints if you are tall and curvaceous and medium-sized prints if you have lots of curves but not much height. Pearls, crystal and gold jewelry dress up a maxi, while beaded accessories lean casual. However you wear it, the key is to make sure the dress complements your figure rather than envelop it.
For All Seasons
Although more of a helpful hint than hard-and-fast rule, don't limit your dresses to just one season. Dresses are often thought of as spring and summer attire but wearing them in the winter allows you to spend much more time enjoying your favorite pieces. To wear summery dresses in cold months without suffering frostbite, pair them with thick tights and boots. Bold colors work best in winter. Prints can work as well, but stay away from Hawaiian prints and anything else that skews tropical. Layer the top portion of the dress to provide warmth and change the look a bit -- a sweater is the fastest and easiest way to do this, but you can also wear a long-sleeved shirt underneath. Scarves and beanies also help keep you warm while adding winter flair to a summer dress.

Cute Prom Ideas For A Guy
Prom is a special time for high school kids. It is often the first formal dance for students and one of the last times seniors will celebrate with their classmates before graduation. When thoughts of prepping for prom come up, it is usually all about hairstyle and prom dresses-but what about the guys? Young men need to be prepared for this special night from beginning to end.
Transportation
If your funds allow, rent a limo for prom night; the use of a limo emphasizes the special occasion. You can get one for a few hours and share the ride with a few other couples to cut down on the cost. That will make the evening even more entertaining and special. If this is out of your price range, rent a nice car or borrow a nice car from a friend or your parents. If you do not rent the transportation, make sure that you thoroughly clean the car before the big night.
Before Prom
Rent a tuxedo or wear a formal, dark suit. Check with your date regarding the color of her dress. Make a statement by coordinating the accessories for your suit or tux and get her a corsage to match as well. If you are going to dinner as part of prom night, make a reservation and pre-plan a cute arrangement or gift to be set up at the table for your date, upon your arrival.
Prom
Pictures are a traditional part of prom night, but bring your own camera to get candid shots of your friends and your date. It will make a really cute keepsake after prom and later in life. These are great pictures to submit to be included in the yearbook, as well. Make sure you compliment your date throughout the night; this will make her feel extraordinary and encourage her feelings of affection for you.
After Prom
Let the good times continue after prom with a fun outing. Go to a bowling alley for a game of bowling or some pool with friends. If you don't want to go out in your formal wear, head to a friend's house for a late movie and some popcorn and soda or turn on the radio and dance without the stress of the dance floor and all those extra eyes watching.

Hairstyles For Big Foreheads
A woman with bangs across the forehead
People with large foreheads can complement their features with the right hairstyle, but not all hairstyles are suited for those with above-average foreheads. However, some haircuts can suit a large forehead well and will either help mask the size of the forehead or frame the face. Always consult a hair-care professional with any questions and discuss your desired look with your stylist before having your hair cut.
Bangs
The most universally flattering hairstyle for large foreheads is bangs. Cutting the bangs at eyebrow level straight across will bring attention to the rest of the face and will camouflage the forehead. Layered bangs along the forehead and down to the chin can frame the face and may be a softer look. Long bangs can also work for men, especially when the bangs are swept sideways on the brow.
Side Part
Parting your hair on the side will bring attention to the hair and not the forehead. Another trick is to part the hair on the side and bring the hair across the forehead. Secure at the side of the head and fasten into a low ponytail at the nape of the neck. This creates the illusion of bangs but can be done with longer hair without cutting bangs.
Long Layers
Long layers will add volume to your hairstyle and will draw attention to your hair, not your face. Add further volume by creating waves or curls, pulling the eye away from the forehead and toward healthy, shiny hair.
Short Styles
A short haircut can provide balance to a large forehead, especially if layers are cut around the front of the face. Spiky hairstyles can also draw the eye away from the face. Add volume with styling products or tools to provide lift and movement to the hair.

Tighten The Shoulders On Men'S Suits
Take pride in your appearance and make your suit fit properly.
When you wear a suit to create a good impression, unsightly bulges at the shoulders lead to embarrassment. Men with sloping shoulders often require shoulder-seam alterations on suit jackets to get the best fit. If you have intermediate sewing skills, don't pay a tailor to get your suit fitted properly. Save your money and eliminate these unattractive flaws at home. Custom fit your suit with a few alterations and wear your suit with confidence.
Instructions
1. Try on the suit jacket. Grab the excess fabric on the outer fabric around the shoulder seam. Draw a line in chalk to mark the new seam around the base of the excess fabric.
2. Separate the shoulder seam under the lining with the seam rippers. Leave enough space to remove the shoulder pad.
3. Knot the ends of the thread to keep the remaining stitches on the shoulder seam intact. Pull out any shoulder pads between the lining and outer fabric.
4. Seam rip the outer fabric shoulder seam carefully. Fold the fabric in so the fold line is along the line you drew in chalk earlier. Stitch the seam back together along this line on the underside of the fabric with the thread that matches the outer fabric.
5. Draw a line where you would like the new seam on the lining fabric in tailor's chalk. Replace the shoulder pads and fold the fabric in on the wrong side of the lining along your drawn seam line on the lining material.
6. Whip-stitch the lining material together along the drawn seam line with invisible thread by threading your knot through the wrong side of the lining fabric and making a series of short stitches. Hide the end knot inside the seam.
7. Repeat the previous steps to tighten the shoulder seam on the remaining side of the suit jacket.

Message Ideas To Engrave In A Ring
Engrave your ring to personalize this piece of jewelry.
Engraving jewelry is a great way to personalize it, making it that much more significant to the person wearing it. This is especially true for rings, which often hold some kind of in-depth significance, be it a promise ring or a wedding band. There are numerous types of messages you can have inscribed on a ring to ensure that the person wearing it always remembers what it stands for and where it came from.
Personal Messages
Inscribe personal messages on your ring that have personal meaning to both you and the person to which you are giving the ring. This could be something as simple as a special saying between the two of you or a more complex message like a description of your feelings for the other person. Try to keep the message fairly short since you are inscribing it on a piece of jewelry, but try to make it as meaningful as possible.
Famous Quotes
A famous quote is also the perfect message to inscribe on a piece of jewelry. Look for something more romantic in nature, since you are likely buying the ring as a form of romantic expression. To find the perfect quote for your inscription, you might peruse a book of love poems. You can also research famous quotes online and pull a snippet that stands out to you from a longer quotation.
Short Messages
Instead of a lengthy message, you might instead opt to make your message consist of just a few words. Inscription ideas of this nature include the joining of your names on the ring or a word or phrase that holds special significance for both of you. This type of jewelry message is best because it's short and has personal meaning to both the individual giving the ring as well as the person receiving it.

Make A Catholic Priest'S Stole
The stole is worn at all priestly functions.
A stole is a long, narrow garment worn by Catholic priests and other ministers. It is worn around the neck, draping from the back of the neck, over the shoulders and down the front of the body roughly to the knees. It symbolizes the priestly office and the yoke of Christ, the work the priest takes on himself in service to Christ. Because the garment has symbolic significance, making one is more complex than merely sewing. The choice of fabric and decorations are crucial.
Instructions
1. Purchase a commercially available stole pattern. Contact your local diocese's Office of Worship and ask for its recommendations regarding reputable vestment pattern sources. A stole is not as simple as it looks. Certain shapes are traditional; others will look wrong. A pattern will guide you to an appropriate size and shape.
2. Purchase or create a design for the ends of the stole. Again, contact your local diocese for recommendations regarding embroidery or appliqu pattern sources. Designs should be large enough to be seen at a distance, but simple and symbolic. Crosses, the chi rho, wheat or a lamb are traditional. So are symbols of the season in which the stole will be worn: palm fronds, a Christmas star or a dove.
3. Select the fabric. The General Instruction of the Roman Missal directs that: "it is fitting that the beauty and nobility of each vestment derive not from abundance of overly lavish ornamentation, but rather from the material that is used and from the design." Choose a good quality silk, silk blend or rayon and acetate blend. Satin and brocade are traditional.
4. Select the color. A white stole is used during the Easter and Christmas seasons; red is used on Palm Sunday, Good Friday, Pentecost Sunday and on celebrations of martyr saints; violet or purple is used during Advent and Lent; green is used during Ordinary Time. A single-color brocade is acceptable. Multi-color prints are not traditional.
5. Cut the stole using the pattern.
6. Appliqu or embroider the design onto the stole. If the design is thick or heavy, you might want to stitch through both the canvas interfacing to stabilize design on the fabric.
7. Assemble the stole according to the pattern instructions.
8. Embroider a cross in the center of the back of the stole. The cross will lie on the back of the neck when the stole is being worn. As the priest dons the stole or takes it off, he will kiss this cross as a symbol of his devotion to Christ and his cross.

Formal Ladies' Pant Suit Styles
A few decades ago, it would have been unheard of for a woman to wear anything but a skirt or dress to a formal occasion. Fortunately, times have changed in favor of women's fashion freedom, thus pant suits are quite popular. These suits come in a variety of styles, with each one having a little something different to offer the wearer.
Tapering
Wear tapered pant suits. These suits are the best choice for women who are considered top heavy (they have broad shoulders or a larger bust). They draw attention downward and away from the heavier top of the frame. This effect works best if the tapered leg of the pant is paired with a jacket that is long and narrow, because the attention is focused in a vertical, rather than horizontal way.
Cuffs and Hems
Wear suits without any cuffs. The fact that the pants do not have any cuffs prevents the viewer from focusing their look on the bottom half of the wearer. For this reason, a pant suit without cuffs is better for an individual who is considered bottom heavy (they have wide hips and thighs).
Form Fitting
Try fitted trousers. This suit type isn't for the faint of heart, because it accentuates rather than hides curves. Shorter jackets are paired with the fitted trousers to bring attention to a slender waist and to add overall height to the leg. Women who are more petite may find that this look helps them to appear taller.
Looser Suits
Glide into business or evening events with luscious, flowing suits. These suits are good for women who don't like to feel restricted in their clothing, since they are designed to let the body move well. The style tends to make use of brighter colors, and due to the nature of the suit, they are most comfortable to wear during the summer months.
Tuxedos
Pull out a tuxedo pant suit. These suits usually include straight lined pants, which can have a sharp pleat or be left plain. The pants can be paired with virtually any length of jacket, so they are very versatile.
Personalization
No matter what type of pant suit style you choose, remember that pant suits do not need to be dull, even if worn in professional settings. Add some pizazz to your choice by selecting suits in brighter, bold colors, or wear suits that have unique beading on the jacket or hems.

Receding Hairline Styles For Men
Nobody wants to lose their hair, so obviously when that day does strike for men, it's one that is filled with sorrow. Some men lose their hair well into their seventies and eighties, while others can lose it as early as their thirties. Never take the razor and assume it's your only option--there are several receding hairline styles for men.
Bald
While trimming it all off and going bald is an option, not everyone can pull it off. It never hurts to give it a shot; just remember that it can take a couple of months for your hair to regrow.
Spiked Short Length
Call this the Vince Vaughn look. Vaughn has hair that has receded on his forehead for years, but he still pulls it off because he has the natural curl and sometimes spiked hair on top. If you have a curl or want to spike the hair, give it a shot.
Mohawk
If you really are feeling adventurous or daring, give yourself a quick shave on the sides, and let a single block of hair stand up down the middle of your head. Don't attempt this hairstyle if you work in a business or professional environment.
Slick Back
Some guys can pull off the slicked back hair with the receding hairline. This is especially viable if you have dark hair.
Ponytail
Hate that your hairline is receding but still have a lot in the back? Take advantage of it by growing out the back and tying it off with a ponytail.

Do Authentic Big '80s Hair
The perm was the essence of big '80s hair.
The 1980s might seem like it was the decade of suffocating yourself with hair chemicals and squeezing your body into neon spandex, but these formative years made a lasting impact on the world of style. The '80s had many fashion hallmarks, and when it came to hair, bigger was better, meaning girls crimped, curled and sprayed, while boys gelled and grew it long. The '80s look comes back into style every few years, and always for costume parties. The most important component of any '80s outfit, and a great way to participate in the decade's style, is to give yourself big '80s hair.
Instructions
1. Apply mousse to wet hair and blow dry upside down, fluffing with your hands as you dry. This creates much of the initial volume you need for big '80s hair.
2. Use a very small curling iron or rod to curl all of your hair after it is completely dry. The smaller the curling iron, the more volume and frizziness you will have. This is the essence of '80s hairstyles.
3. Spray curled hair with hair spray, holding the bottle at arm's length from your head.
4. Fluff more with your hands and add more hairspray as needed to keep the hair in place and pouffy.

Dress Like David Beckham
Not only is he the most famous soccer player in the world, David Beckham is the essence of cool. He and his fashionista wife, ex-Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, are the world's most fashionable couple. Master a few wardrobe rules, and though you might not be able to bend it like Beckham, you'll be able to dress like him.
Instructions
1. Wear a soccer jersey. Sure, this only works for very casual occasions, but what better way to emulate David Beckham, or "Becks," than to wear his jersey. Wear it with jeans to watch his next match on TV or in a bar, or put it with gym shorts, when you go out to play soccer.
2. Go for a casual look. Your jeans need to be expensive, but not look it, so splurge on a pair of distressed, designer denims, if you can. Becks is also a fan of tight t-shirts and tank tops.
3. Dress it up. Becks knows do formal and can pull off a suit like no one else. Look for a black or grey suit in a modern cut and get it tailored for the perfect fit.
4. Accessorize. As the world's most well-known metrosexual, Beckham isn't afraid to sparkle. If you can't afford real diamond jewelry, try some fake jewelry that can pass for the real thing.
5. Carry a man bag. We're not sure what exactly Becks is carrying around in his man-purse, but he carries one almost everywhere he goes.
6. Bleach your hair and practice crazy hairstyles, including but not limited to a mohawk, a faux-hawk, or cornrows. You can make it easier on yourself and just buzz it all off, which is also one of Becks' favorite hairstyles. Speaking of hair, make sure you have a bit of sexy stubble on your face, and your transformation is complete.

Open The Back Of A Wristwatch
Open the Back of a Wristwatch
Wristwatches are made in many different styles, shapes and sizes. These accessories can be quite inexpensive-around $10-or they can cost as much as a brand new automobile. No matter what your style, most wristwatches run on batteries and these batteries do need to be replaced when they wear out. Typically the only way to replace them is by removing the back of the watch and retrieving the battery. Not all wristwatch backs are removable, but most modestly priced watches are.
Instructions
1. Locate any screws on the back of the watch. These will be very small if you have a watch with a screwed back. Some watches do not have screws on the back and must be pried off with a small flathead screwdriver, according to WatchMaterials.com.
2. Select the appropriate screwdriver to remove the screws. Because the screws are so small, no standard size screwdriver will be able to remove them. You must purchase a set of small tipped screwdrivers that have a #0 size screwdriver or smaller, such as 1.4 mm.
3. Unscrew all of the screws and set them aside. Be careful where you put them as these screws are very small and you can lose them easily.
4. Take a small flathead screwdriver and pry apart the back of the watch if it is not screwed on. Fit the head of the screwdriver beneath the watch back and start to twist. Be careful to not scratch the metal. The watch back should pop right off as you pry.
