The Personal Edition is an entry-level version of Real VNC, providing only the most basic communication between computers. It is intended for private homes or small businesses. Vino is a VNC server designed for use on GNOME (GNU Network Object Model Environment), a desktop environment made completely of open-source software. Among its features are encryption of all data running across the server, a chat window, an embedded Java window, and a dialogue for file transfer.
