Measure For A Tuxedo Fitting

,

Whether you're headed to the prom, a wedding, or whatever your formal occasion, having a tuxedo that fits is crucial. If it's too tight or too short, the look is ruined, and being careless with your measurements is a way to cause it not to fit. It's best to have someone else measure you so that mistakes aren't made. Don't make the tape measure overly tight so that you're uncomfortable in the tuxedo.

Instructions

1. Measure the chest by measuring with your arms above your head. Measure right under your arms, making sure to go over the shoulder blades at the fullest part.

2. Measure height and weight.

3. Measure the outseem with shoes on by measuring from the outside of the arch of the shoe, up your leg, up to the height of the navel.

4. Measure the overarm by measuring the same way as with the chest except for over the arms.

5. Measure the neck by measuring from were the collar normally falls all the way around the neck. Allow enough room to breath.

6. Measure the sleeve by measuring with your arm straight down at your side. Place tape at the base of the neck down the arm to the wrist.

7. Compare to a sizing chart.
