Instructions
1. Stand in front of the mirror and experiment with how much fabric you want to take in on the legs of the pants to give them a slimmer legged appearance. Take off the pants, turn them inside out and put them back on. Pin the pants along the inside seam (inseam). Place the pins running vertically (parallel to the seam). Use the measuring pins to ensure you are pinning the fabric consistently on each leg. Survey the pants in the mirror again to make sure this is the amount of material that you want to take in. Take off the pants.
2. Sew along the pinned inseam with the pants still inside out. Go all the way from the hem to the crotch on both legs, with the seams meeting at the crotch. Remove the pins and trim away the excess fabric leaving only .25-inches of fabric outside of the seam.
3. Iron the pants, turn them right-side out and put them on again. If the pants are still not as slim as you desire, repeat the process, taking off a bit more fabric this time.
