Make your own lipstick color in a few easy steps.
Although cosmetic companies offer hundreds of lipstick colors, finding the right shade for your skin tone can be a challenge. Often a lipstick looks good in the store, but when you bring it home it's too red or too pink. As a result, you find yourself swiping on color from two or three different tubes to get the right shade. Now you can skip all the mixing and create your own signature color in just a few easy steps.
Instructions
1. Clean the lip gloss pot with rubbing alcohol. Make sure all lip gloss is wiped clean from the pot. Allow to dry.
2. Using the butter knife, cut a quarter inch section from each shade of lipstick that you want to blend. If you want one color to be more dominant than others, cut a larger chunk from that color and smaller chunks from less dominant shades. Place all chunks in the lip gloss pot.
3. Place lip gloss pot with color sections in microwave for 10 seconds. Stir. Continue to microwave in 10 second increments until lipstick has a creamy consistency. Stir until completely blended into new shade.
4. Place lid on lip gloss pot and store in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
